My portrait was inspired by the life of a man who has contributed so much to the lives of many boys in scouting. Barry Schwartzman has been a true inspiration, not only for me, but for many parents who were blessed by his guidance, commitment and dedication. He is a true leader, a man who proceeds for the common good, and has clear intentions and a true desire to help young scouts become men of great character and values. It’s been a privilege to know Barry Schwartzman and it was true gratitude that prompted me to acknowledge his dedication by painting his portrait.
